TV-B-Gone

If you've ever been stuck in a waiting room or pub with the TV blaring pointless nonsense in the background, then TV-B-Gone is for you.

Simply press the button and the TV-B-Gone will switch off 99% of televisions and virtually anything with an infrared port.

This handy little devise is preprogrammed with over 400 'off' sequences. It will keep scanning until it finds the off frequency. It is mainly used for TVs, but has proved equally effective on DVD players and other devices.

How it works

• Point the key fob-sized unit towards a TV set
• Press the button once (no need to hold it down)
  
• The remote will then send out a sequence of 'off' codes for virtually every television
  
• Keep pointing it at the TV until it turns off
  
• 90% of televisions should turn off within the first 17 seconds, it cycles through every code in its database within 69 seconds
  

TV-B-Gone measures 4.5cm x 6cm and comes with a handy keyring attachment.

TV-B-Gone works best when used under 7 metres from the television set, although in optimum circumstances can work over twice that distance.

Batteries are included with the TV-B-Gone.

The TV-B-Gone is the European Version II, this should work on most European TVs as well as TVs in Australia and South American countries such as Brazil.
