This beautiful brass piece of timekeeping history allows you to tell the time using the sun. Based on a design used in the 18th century, this sun dial has a diameter of 60mm, and is fully portable, allowing you to check the time anywhere in the world - provided the sun's shining.
Just find yourself a sunny spot and set the latitude on the outer ring and the date on the central slider then open the inner ring by 90° and turn the sundial until a beam of light strikes the ring and tells you the time.
The Pocket Sundial comes in a cardboard presentation box with instructions.
